The character gains a single Troop as a familiar. This minion should be a small, relatively minor accomplice, such as a servo-skull, snotling, tau drone, or cyber-hound. A familiar copies the stat block of the equivalent creature, but gains one skill at (8) as determined by the GM. Familiars are reasonably loyal and can be ordered to act independently, though their limited capabilities mean this should be reserved for fairly simple tasks. A slain familiar may be replaced for free with the next time the character visits a major encampment or civilization center, or at the GM's discretion.
